Dublin Does Global

Generally, though, I buy groceries from Aldi's, which is actually a German chain and is common in Europe alongside America! I also buy my groceries from stores like Tesco or Lidl. My flatmates and I cook together, so we order groceries from Tesco for delivery. Most things you see in the grocery store are sourced from Ireland, and most of the packaging will even tell you where in the country the ingredients come from.

Is this food connected to the local environment? How?:

As you walk through Dublin's city centre, you catch whiffs of the amazing food from all the international restaurants. While Irish food is amazing in its own right, the large variety of cultural cuisine highlights the melting pot which Ireland's metropolitan areas have become. Even when you're far away, you can always manage to find something that feels like home.
