One of my favorite foods here is the tradtional Spanish dish paella, which is rice seasoned with saffron, a mellow spice that gives the rice its yellow color. It comes with whichever meats or seafood you wish to eat Some other popular treats here are the churros and chocolate. These are so popular that they gave every student free churros and chocolate for the first day of my orientation at my new school in Madrid, Univeristy of Carlos III.
I'm looking forward to participating in many fun activities here. Fútbol (soccer) is the most popular sport, and of course I would love to attend a Real Madrid Game! I went to visit Barcelona, and although legendary soccer player Messi played for F.C. Barcelona for so long and he is so taleneted, I am still rooting for Real Madrid!
