What was the best meal this week?:

The best meal I had this week was at a restaurant on the coast, and it was absolutely incredible. I had scallops, mashed potatoes, and black pudding, all served with fresh seafood right from the ocean. The scallops were perfectly cooked and tasted so fresh, and the black pudding was an interesting, flavorful touch. I had to try it! The view of the sea made the meal even better, as nothing beats eating fresh seafood with the ocean breeze around me--it made it feel extra special. It was one of those meals I’ll definitely remember!

What music did I listen to this week?:

This week, I got to enjoy live music at The Village, which is technically our student union. They hosted a band that played traditional Irish folk music, and it was such a fun experience! The whole crowd was getting into it, dancing around and enjoying the lively tunes. It was awesome to be part of such a fun and vibrant atmosphere, especially with the music so deeply tied to Ireland’s culture. It definitely made for a memorable night!

What activity was the most fun this week?:

The most fun activity this week was definitely visiting the Le Zeitgeist Flea Market. My friends introduced me to it, and we went together. It’s held on the first Sunday of every month, and it’s a huge market with tons of local booths selling all kinds of things. I picked up some really cool items--a beautiful turquoise necklace, a vintage painted plate, a cozy sweater, and a fiction book about life in Ireland. The atmosphere was amazing, with so many friendly people and a really laid-back vibe.
