My Slovak has improved a little bit, so my host dad (who only speaks Slovak) and I can have small conversations. I can make my own plans with friends I have made in both the English language club and Košice Erasmus (European study abroad) group. I feel more a part of this community, and I can’t wait to see what these next nine months hold!
