I stayed in Košice this week. The furthest I went was to Anička, which is 3.1km (1.9 mi) outside of the city center.
In my first week I was here I traveled from Bratislava, Slovakia (in the far West bordering Austria) to Ružomberok, Slovakia (in the Central North) to Košice (in the Southeast). In total it was about a 454km (282 mi trip.
This week I got around by bus, tram, car and my own feet. To get to the school each day and to get around the city, I typically take the tram, transfer to a bus, and then walk. The only time I took a car this week was when my host mom went with my host sister and I to the mall.
The most interesting place I visited this week was Prešov, Slovakia. Prešov is a neighboring town where my foreign exchange student sister is from. It was great to sit drinking coffee and people watching in another Slovak town to see the similarities and differences from Košice.
