The main language spoken in France is French. Some of my students and people in my town also speak Arabic, Spanish, and Italian. Students also learn English, and some learn German.
France is a member of the Eurozone, a group of European countries that use a common currency called the euro. That means that you can travel from France to Germany to Spain to Greece and many other countries, and you never have to change the money you use!
In France, a bottle of water costs two euros.
My best meal of the week was Sunday brunch, a large afternoon meal eaten on Sundays with your family. I joined a friend from choir and her children at her mother-in-law's house to share this special meal. The meal begins with an entrée (what we call an appetizer in the U.S.), continues with a plat principal (main course), then a cheese course. The meal ends with dessert and coffee.
