One of my favorite things I see on land is geckos. There are many around the outside of my house every day! I even find geckos inside my house sometimes!
This week I had the incredible opportunity to see an entire pod of dolphins while I was out on a boat collecting data. The dolphins were swimming around the boat so we were able to get in the water with our snorkels to watch them. Dolphins are very smart animals and travel together in large groups. The group I saw had about 25 dolphins and stayed around the boat for a few minutes before swimming away.
Tofo has lots of butterflies! I have enjoyed watching the butterflies fly around to all the blooming flowers in my neighborhood! The butterflies are very colorful and pretty large!
