The farthest I traveled this week was to Belo Horizante. It is a four-hour car ride from the town of Lavras.
Tonight I am leaving to visit Vítoria, which is in another state in Brazil. I will take a bus that leaves at 9:00 a.m. and arrives at 5:00 a.m. This is an eight-hour bus ride!
This week I got around by taking buses and caronas, which is a ride-sharing network in Brazil.
The most interesting place I visited this week was the Atlético Mineiros Stadium in Belo Horizante. The stadium was filled with thousands of excited fans! What is your favorite sports team?
My Brazilian grandmother is visiting Recife to visit her hometown. I am planning to travel to the north of Brazil to visit her sometime this month.
