Gressy (girl) and Sonyu (boy) are both 15 years old and attend the high school, San Roque, here at my site. I work with them and the rest of the 120 students that attend the school for my work. Here are some answers from them about their lives here in Peru.
Gressy: For breakfast, I eat bread with cheese and water. For lunch I have a segundo (main dish) usually with potato and rice. For dinner, I have tea and bread.
Sonyu: For breakfast I like to have quaker (a type of oat drink). For lunch, I usually have soup and bread. For dinner, I have a segundo (main dish).
Gressy: My house has two floors. There are three bathrooms, four bedrooms for me and my siblings, a front and back porch, a living room, and a kitchen.
Sonyu: My parents are not together so I have two houses- one for each parent.
Gressy: I do a lot of chores. I usually cook dinner for my family and sometimes I make breakfast, too. I wash my clothes and clean the house.
Sonyu: I clean my room and help my parents when they ask.
