Her favorite dish is ceviche—a classic Peruvian favorite made with fish, corn, potato, sweet potato, avocado, and lots of lime! Her second favorite is papa a la huancaína, which is boiled potatoes topped with a creamy yellow sauce made from cheese, milk, yellow chili peppers, and garlic.

At school, they speak Castellano, the Peruvian form of Spanish. For example, “hello” in Castellano is ¡hola!
