This week was mostly gray. I live in the Langhe, a valley between the Alps (a mountain range that borders northern Italy) and the sea. This means that all the humidity that is snow in the mountains comes down and settles as fog here. While the seaside has wind, we do not, so it's pretty cloudy all winter. Fortunately, we got two sunny days! I got to eat lunch outside and enjoy some vitamin D!
This week, I spotted magpies and mourning doves perched in the olive tree in front of my house. I also saw the farm cats at my school!
This week, I saw my neighbor's cats! She has six outdoor cats, some black and some orange!
Some small plants are sprouting from the thawed ground since it has been a little sunnier this week. I saw some aster flowers and dandelions!
