I just arrived yesterday, but the forecast for this week looks the same as yesterday and today: hot, humid, and rainy! Although the measured temperature is 90 degree Fahrenheit, it feels very much like over 100 degrees! There are random moments of rain that come and go, but the humidity is always present.
So far, I've seen plenty of dogs and chickens since I'm in a rural area, but I've also seen small lemur-type monkeys in the higher trees, too!
This week, I plan on visiting some of the natural parks and hopefully getting a taste of the Amazon Rainforest!
