A Visit to Kharkhorin

Kharkhorin was the capital of the ancient Mongol Empire. It has beautiful grass landscapes called steppe and a large monastery, or Buddhist site of worship, called Erdene Zuu.

These prayer wheels make a sound like bells. You typically rotate them while saying a religious chant.
