The weather has been a lot warmer and sunnier than in the past couple of months. We are currently transitioning from the rainy to the dry season, so there have been a lot less heavy rain showers. I love it because the sky has been clear enough for me to get a good view of the mountains out in the distance while walking home from school.
In Sarapiquí I saw all types of farm animals including horses, cows and chickens. In the forest there, I also saw frogs and different types of birds.
At our lodge in Sarapiquí, we found a little green frog in our shower. It was about the size of a nickel. I was startled at first because it moved so quickly, but up close it was actually kind of cute.
