Because these cows can roam free and live in such a beautiful place, they are known as vacas felizes (VAH-cush fih-LEE-zush), which means, "happy cows"!
Portugal has a big network of trains that can take you almost anywhere in the country. If you can't get to a place by train, bus services can usually get you to cities that do not have a train station. Both buses and trains are very comfortable in Portugal!
