All you need to do is boil your water, let it cool down, and you are good to go!
This week I made a dish with chopped potatoes, green peppers, carrots, onions and an egg. I cooked all of the ingredients in a frying pan because I do not have an oven or a microwave. I also added a little bit of cinnamon to the vegetables and the taste was actually amazing.
This may sound surprising but I didn't really listen to a lot of music this week. Instead, I listened to National Public Radio (NPR). Sometimes it is difficult to stay in touch with current events in the United States while I am abroad, but I have found this to be a good way of staying up-to-date.
Last Sunday, Ms. Quynh and I met at a cafe called "L'amore." We had coconut coffee and sunflower seeds. Many people eat sunflower seeds at cafes. The seeds are still stuck in the shell, which you have to break open in order to eat the seeds inside. Some people can do this very quickly. I cannot!
This week I read two books. One book is designed for English Language Learners. The book has many short stories and highlighted vocabulary words in both English and Vietnamese. The other book is about the way in which the theme of love has been treated in literature.
