"German is my native language; this is the language I speak with my family. I learned English at school starting in the third grade. In the sixth grade, I also started learning French, but it has been a while since I've spoken French. I took one course in Italian at University. I am wanting to improve my French and Italian skills. In German, I would say Hallo or Hey for 'Hello.' With friends and family, I often say 'na'.'"
"I don't have any pets, as I think the WG is too small for them. If I had a big yard I would love to have hühne und enten (chickens and ducks)."
"I've only traveled in Europe. Since my home is in Western Germany, I have visited Holland, France, Italy and Spain. My partner studied in Croatia for a semester so I often visited him there. We would often meet in the middle, mostly in Austria and Slovakia. During my gap year, I visited Norway and Sweden as well."
"Right now I am a full-time student. I am studying Verfahrens und Naturstofftechnik (Process and Natural Materials Technology). I want to be able to program machines to make wood into multiple different sustainable products."
