The weather this week has been mostly hot and humid! How hot does it get in New York City in June? However, this week it drizzled on and off for about two days. It doesn't rain a lot right now because we are in the dry season!
My host family has chickens and a rooster. I also saw a lot of birds that like to sit on the trees near my host family's house.
Although I found it somewhat gross to watch, I saw a gecko eating a bug on a spider web.
The chickens just hatched some baby chicks in my backyard. And my host mother said that soon the chickens will lay eggs that we can eat!
