Marga is the seven-year-old daughter of Mónica, my bilingual coordinator and boss at my school. Mónica will tell you how she has seen and experienced the benefit of speaking English. And she hopes Marga will experience similar success, so she invites me over to practice English with Marga each week.
Margarita Alvarez is my full name, but people call me "Marga."
I live in an apartment on the fifth floor of my building with my mom and dad. Our apartment has two floors. The kitchen and living room are on the first floor, and my parents' room and my room are on the second floor. We live in the city of Ourense in Galicia, Spain.
I am very close to my parents and my grandparents. My family is from a smaller village about 45 minutes outside of the city. Every couple weeks, we go back to our village to spend time with family.
Since my school is close to my house, I like to walk there with my mom. But when we have to go farther away, my mom and dad usually drive us in the car.
