






The main languages spoken here are Tetun, Portugues, Bahasa (Indonesia) and the different local languages.
The U.S. currency is also used here in Timor. However, the $1 is not accepted, and Timor has it's on version of coin change.
For the small 600ml bottle of water, it is .25c, and it is .50c for the big 1.5L of water.
The best meal this week was a fish curry with rice that my host sister made! She loves to cook, and it definitely shows.
This week, I listened to gospel music.
The most fun activity was traveling to Dili, the capital of Timor for a Peace Corps meeting. It's great to see all the other Peace Corps volunteers at these meetings.
This week, I'm reading the Bible. One of my goals during my free time is to read the entire Bible before I leave Timor.
