We live near my mother and father who have their own small home down the road. I also have two sisters and a brother who live in the San Jose area. My family is very close and we enjoying spending holidays and weekends together.

How do you get around?:

I do not have a car so I use the bus and train to commute to and from work. I also use taxis and Uber, when necessary. I mostly walk when I am in my neighborhood.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

I enjoy wearing comfortable clothing including jeans, comfy dress shirts and flowy dresses. These clothes work well with the office dress code and do not aggravate me!

What do you like to do in your free time?:

In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, hanging out with my family and knitting! I do not have a lot of free time though with work and school.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I only speak Spanish fluently but I am trying to learn some English in my spare time. My brother is an English teacher and is helping me. Hello in Spanish is "Hola."

Do you have pets?:

I do not have any pets at the moment, but we do leave food out for the stray cats in the neighborhood.

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

I have not traveled much, only to some of the beach towns on the Pacific and Caribbean coasts and to the volcanoes. But I do want to travel more eventually, maybe after my son graduates college.

What do you do for work?:

I am the secretary of the DPPC and manage all of the calls, meetings and other business for the department heads.
