I stayed in La Rioja this week, so I only traveled locally.
In December, I traveled from La Rioja, Spain to Strasbourg, France to see the beautiful Christmas markets!
Logroño is a very small city, so I normally walk everywhere. However, I work at a school that is in a more rural town in La Rioja called Albelda de Iregua, so I ride in a car with one of my co-workers to get to work.
In the center of Logroño, there is a beautiful cathedral with unique architecture and bells that ring throughout the day. People often play music on accordion or guitar in the streets near the cathedral, and there are little stands that sell hot roasted chestnuts. I love walking near the grand cathedral because all of the sounds, sights and smells fill me with joy.
