The furthest I traveled this week was only five miles. There is a lot of traffic here in the city, so sometimes it takes a whole hour to drive just five miles.
The furthest I traveled on this journey so far was to Kharkhorin. Kharkhorin is about six hours by car from the city.
I walked a ton this week! I live five miles from the city center, which is pretty far. But I wanted to enjoy this past week of nice weather since it is going to get so cold in the winter time and I know I won't be able to enjoy the outdoors as much as I'm enjoying the outdoors right now.
The most interesting place I visited this week was Kharkhorin. People don't know a lot about Mongolia, but there is a lot of fascinating history here.
Next week I am taking a 36-hour road trip to go to an Eagle Festival in western Mongolia. I'll be sure to report back!
