My Journey to Spain

I ended up receiving a full scholarship from Salve Regina University and that made my decision a lot easier. I commuted to and from school during my time there and earned my Business Administration degree, graduating a semester early. I originally looked at majoring in social work or education but ultimately decided business was the way to go. I graduated this past December and when people ask me what I want to do, I still tell them I have no clue. What I have learned from many people I spoke with though is that it is never too late to change what you are doing and to find something you are passionate about.

During my time in college I was given the opportunity to skip a final presentation and volunteer with a local organizaton instead. This is where I started volunteering and working with FabNewport. I also had a work study position at Salve where I helped mentor some students at Rogers, doing things such as showing them different career paths that do not involve college. These things showed me I enjoyed working with students to an extent, and helped lead me to where I am at right now, in Asturias, Spain through the Fulbright program.
