Katya Ponomareva is an English teacher who lives in Omsk, Russia. I was lucky enough to meet her at one of the English clubs I attend, called English Dinner. She immediately welcomed me and made me feel right at home. I am excited for you to read about her experiences as a native of Omsk!
I'm Katya Ponomareva.
I live in Omsk, Russia. Omsk is located in Siberia. I rent a one-bedroom apartment (one bedroom means just one room, without any additional living room). It's quite cozy and suitable for one person.
My family is my mom. She is retired. I also have other relatives: aunts, cousins and uncles. Some of them live in Russia and some in Germany.
I prefer to get around by public transportation because it's quite convenient. It runs regularly and it isn't expensive. At night or in the morning (when the public transport isn't running), I take a cab, which is also quite affordable and convenient (especially by using online apps such as Uber or Gett).
