The weather this week has been nice. It's spring here in Madrid, but the spring here is warmer than a typical New England spring. The early mornings and late evenings are cool with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. The afternoons are very warm with temperatures in the 70s and 80s.
This week I saw peacocks in the park.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was a rose garden at Retiro Park. Retiro Park is a huge park in the center of Madrid, and it's similar to Central Park in New York. The rose garden had roses of all different colors, and it smelled very nice.
This has been one of the warmest weeks that we've had in Madrid in a while, so I spent more time outside in the sun. There are lots of green spaces and outdoor seating for people to enjoy the good weather.
