What's it Like to be a Kid in Madrid?

Introduction:

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a kid in Madrid? Below are the responses of some of my students in their first year of high school. They are around 12 years old.  

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

For breakfast, I eat pan con tomate (bread with tomato). I usually eat meat or pasta for lunch and sometimes rice and chicken for dinner. 

What is your house like?:

I live in a flat (apartment) in Madrid. 

What chores do you have at home?:

I clean the plates in the kitchen and clean my room.

What jobs do your parents have?:

My mom is a receptionist. My dad works at the bank.

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

School starts at 8:20 in the morning. I go home at 3:25 in the afternoon. 

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

I take the bus to school or I walk. I always go by myself.

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat lunch at home after school. My favorite food is pasta or pizza.
