Winter is very quiet in Moldova, and it tends to keep people inside by the soba and animals hidden where they can try and stay warm. There will not be much activity until at least March. It has been very foggy, and I can barely see past my street in the mornings as I walk to work. The ground has been freezing and re-thawing over the days which has led to a lot of muddy shoes.
