This week has featured classic Galician weather with mornings full of fog, and rainy and cold afternoons and evenings. I never leave my apartment building without my gloves, scarf, jacket, and umbrella. However, we have had a couple days when the sun peeked out during the late morning to give us a small dose of vitamin D.
This week, I have seen dogs out walking with their owners, despite the rain and cold. Some people put little sweaters or rain jackets on their pets, which I had never previously seen in person.
The fog that hangs over the valleys and fields in Galicia is so beautiful to look out and see. I went hiking in a nearby village and got a beautiful view of little puffy clouds hanging down in the nearby valley.
While Galicia is known for its dreary weather, it seems Ourense has some of the mildest weather in the region, since we are located in a valley.
