It is really WINDY here! My apartment is on the fifth floor, and the wind continuously whistles throughout because of the strong winds. When it is not windy, the sun's rays are extremely strong, and it gets feels too hot if you aren't partially shaded, even at just 73 degrees. I just learned what a U.V. (ultra-violet) index is—it is a rating of how strong the ultraviolet rays from the sun are—and Cape Town has had a rating of nine this week!
Besides an Egyptian goose, no animals so far!
My foreign study program went to a conservation area called the Kirstenbosch Gardens, which is filled with beautiful views of flowers, and birds. Kirstenbosch is on a hill, and the view is breathtaking from there. Check out the pictures I uploaded!
