The weather in the Åland Islands has been very warm! My Finnish friends warned me that the Åland Islands would be very windy, and very cold. Instead, the weather was warm enough to enjoy spending time outside.
While out biking, we had the chance to see a lot of the countryside. We passed areas that are used to pasture animals, including a lot of sheep!
We went for a bike ride out of the city Wednesday afternoon, and I loved looking at the scenery. It changed so quickly as we rode on! I loved looking at the ocean and crossing bridges where the sun was shining across the water. Because we were in an archipelago (a group of islands), the coastline was very varied.
