This week, it was hot and humid. In the 20 minutes it takes to walk to school, my whole body gets drenched in sweat! I can't wait until the wintertime when it cools off a little.
Mostly, I see (and hear!) the peacocks that live in our backyard. They make the strangest noises: cooing, gobbling and even meowing!
This week, I got caught in a monsoon (wet season) downpour. The water was up past my knees in the storm. My friend and I were outside, so a local shopkeeper pulled us into his little shop to dry off. Even though the rain was beautiful, I was happy to get inside and get dry again.
