With the first day of Autumn officially arriving, the weather in Paris, at least for me, already feels very cold. In San Diego, it rarely drops below 60 degrees! The air was crisp, the wind chilly and the sky full of gray clouds. I found myself wearing boots, gloves, a scarf and a big coat. I have never worn so many layers! While there were periods of rain, it was generally light and I did not need an umbrella. While on the go, having fewer things to carry is the best way to go!
Although Paris is not known for its diverse wildlife, I did see a few wild animals, mostly along the Seine River, as it provides a freshwater source for much of the city's wildlife. I saw seagulls, which at first seemed strange to me because I typically associate them with the beach, but it turns out that just about any body of water will do for them.
