The lower part of the building is the cafe and the top part is a museum full of things that various historical figures have left behind over the years. Thomas Jefferson, Napoleon and even Marie Antoniette have all eaten there. The most exciting thing that I saw was Napoleon's hat which he left there as payment for his food because he had forgotten his money!
In my first week, I met so many amazing people from all over the world including Argentina, Spain, Ecuador, Egypt, Australia and the U.S. As I foster these new friendships, I am hoping that I will one day be able to visit them all in their home countries, and of course, have them visit me in San Diego!
