I listened to a lot of music this week on the radio and at the school ball. The DJ played popular Czech and Slovak music, which sometimes were American songs translated into Czech. "All About that Bass" by Meghan Trainor is played in Czech on the radio all the time!
I went to a special dance this week called the Maturita Ball. It's a lot like prom in the United States. The graduating seniors dress up in beautiful tuxedos and gowns of all colors. Parents and family come to watch the seniors dance. Everyone is proud of how grown-up their sons and daughters are. We danced all night and had a very nice dinner.
