My First Week in India!

On Monday morning I landed in Ahmedabad, India. It is the first stop on my journey studying abroad! Here's a little look into what I have been able to experience in the last four days.

Masala Chipsi

This week I had masala chipsi (masala chips), which are French fries covered in an Indian spice that is very hot. It has quickly become my favorite food in Tanzania!

Madrid's Food Culture

Madrid is a city built around eating, relaxing and enjoying oneself. I'll be giving a big picture view of what I have experienced with Spanish cuisine so far!

A Great Week of Tracking

This was our most productive week in the field yet! Our goal every week is to download data from each of the 26 animals we are tracking, and this was the first week that we managed to get them all.

Chowing Down on Chocao

Have you ever tried a food you didn't think you would like? Sometimes new foods can be tastier than you'd imagine!

Baskets, Lizards and the Indian Ocean

This week I visited a beach on the coast of the Indian Ocean, weaved baskets from straw weeds, saw a rainbow-colored lizard and was caught in the rain several times!

Transportation Around Madrid

Transportation is a big part of people’s lives and it really affects the way they live.

Recognizing STEM Around You
