Beautiful Barcelona

This week I traveled south to Barcelona, Spain where I got to use my Spanish with the locals and eat delicious seafood!

A Change of Pace

Hey everyone! This week was a little different than previous weeks because it was Easter, so I had the opportunity to try out a few new experiences. Here is an update of my time in Argentina!

It's All Relative

This week, a group of friends and I went camping for a few days. The trip was nothing less than eye-opening. Not only did I see Argentine wildlife, but I also learned a great lesson.

Refugee Population in Europe

Right now there are 15 million refugees in the world that have been forced to seek asylum in a different country.

Field Note: Food

It would be a crime to come to Morocco and not enjoy a cup (or two) of Moroccan mint tea!

My English Professor

I interviewed my English professor, Miranda Al-Reyes, about her daily life in London. Professor Al-Reyes teaches my class on 19th-century English novels, which is easily my favorite this term.

My Friend Hector Rayo

I decided to interview a close friends here at the university. His name is Hector Rayo and he is a 23-year-old native to Bahía Blanca, Argentina. This is a brief interview about Hector.

A Weekend in Belgium

I started this week off in Belgium and then did some more exploring in and around London! With the coming of spring, the cities of Europe are starting to bloom.

Tim Burton Trees

Have you ever come across something in nature that you've never seen before? It's kind of exciting, right? I had one of those moments in Belgium this week with some very unusual trees.

Just a Few Weeks In!

My time here has been short, yet I feel like I have seen and done so much. I have already made some great connections with the country and the people. This is an update on my life here in Argentina.
