This week, my friends and I made pizza together. I eat a lot of Indian food, so making and eating pizza was like a little taste of home!
This week I read a book about jugaad in India. Jugaad is a Hindi word that means "hack", or innovative solution. The book talks about simple but cost effective solutions people in India have created for everyday problems, both large and small.
While I didn't play any sports this week, I did watch some cricket. Cricket is a game played with a hard ball and a flat bat. In some ways, it is similar to baseball. Currently, India is competing in the Cricket World Cup played every four years.
I have collected water samples from local streams near Jaipur and will be taking the to my laboratory in New Delhi to analyze them for pollutants.
