This week I read a book called Keeper, about a boy from a small town in South America who ended up becoming a goalkeeper in the finals of the World Cup!
This week I didn't play any sports, although in past weeks I've played soccer with my friends from the neighborhood. Pickup soccer games are just as common as seeing a game of pickup basketball or football at home.
An interesting fact is that Belém means Bethlehem in English. It is one of the oldest cities in Brazil. It was founded in 1616.
