How much does a bottle of water cost?:

The cost of a bottle of water in Switzerland is about 3.50 CHF. That is equal to about $3.85. Bottled water prices are higher in Switzerland because they want to discourage people from using plastic bottles, here. As such, there are clean water fountains almost everywhere. A tip I would give travelers who are planning to come to Switzerland is to bring a reusable water bottle. It can be filled in parks, restaurants, and public spaces like train stations. This habit reduces the amount of plastic ending up in landfills and encourages you to drink more water. Also, Switzerland has some of the cleanest water in Europe!

What was the best meal this week?:

My host sister made delicious spaghetti the first night I stayed with her family. The sauce was different from what I'm used to because it had chopped carrots in it. I'd never tasted carrots in my spaghetti before, but I was excited to try new foods, and it turned out to be delicious. Swiss food is not very spicy, though, so I found a Thai restaurant for one of my lunches.
