The main language used was Japanese. There weren't any tourists, which was surprising. I always see tourists wherever I go, but this time it was full of local Japanese people.
The Japanese yen was used and so were credit and debit cards.
I am not sure how much a bottle of water costs. This is because I did not see any vending machines by the beach. That is how isolated it was. However, water at the restaurants was free, just like in the U.S.
The best meal I had was fluffy pancakes from Palm Beach Restaurant. I got an apple fluffy pancake which had whipped cream. I got some nice warm cinnamon tea on the side since it got colder in the afternoon. I also ate a Japanese chili cheese hotdog, which seems to be different from American chili cheese dogs, since this one had melted mozzarella cheese.
