Our News

I liked it because it tasted really good, it was pretty healthy, and it came from the culture we were experiencing that day.

What music did I listen to this week?:

We had a Greek dance group visit our ship for a performance. A musician played a traditional Greek instrument, the bouzouki, while four dancers performed a few difference dances from areas around Greek. If you want to see what it looked and sounded like, please https://youtu.be/MqjhpUcqMDE, https://youtu.be/Cc9l3AGHt6M and https://youtu.be/swCs2QznifM. I hope you enjoy the performances as much as I did!

What activity was the most fun this week?:

Every day is a new adventure on this journey! We wake up in the morning in a new place, and spend most of the day exploring the major attractions of the area. All of the passengers on this voyage love to learn. I really enjoyed a short drive we took on the island of Rhodes to the village of Lindos. In Lindos, we climbed to the acropolis (the highest point in the village) and visited a castle that had been build around the remains of a much older temple dedicated to the goddess Athena. From the acropolis, I could see for miles up and down the island's beautiful coastline. It was a tough climb, but very worth it!

What did I read this week?:

Every evening we get a briefing sheet that tells us what is happening the next day. It's like a wonderful surprise that is left in our room to discover as we return from dinner.
