What main languages are spoken here?:

Since we learned that the official language in Argentina is Spanish, I thought I would talk a little about Uruguay. Here, their official language is also Spanish but with an Italian twist. People speak very passionately with hand gestures and often have an accent that can sound very similar to the Italian spoken in Italy. Try saying pizza and pasta with an Italian accent! You are even closer to being Uruguayan than you thought. Here, you may also find people speaking Portuguese, Italian, German and Russian. So many languages from all over the world! One of the most popular, less-used languages is called Portunol, which is a mixture of Portuguese and Spanish. This language only is spoken in Uruguay!

In Uruguay, they use another version of the peso called the Uruguayan peso. The bills are very colorful like Argentinian money. They are red, green, blue and yellow. Almost the entire rainbow! They also use coins in Uruguay that can be anywhere from ten pesos to fifty pesos in a single coin.
