I learned all about the area, as well as the indigenous group, the Wayuu.
While it's a little too hot for regular sports and activities in la Guajira, I did see a soccer field set up!
There were people from all around the world traveling to la Guajira too! When I was there, I met people from just about every corner of the world: Germany, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and of course, Colombia.
