One United States Dollar equals 6.5 Yuan. This is beneficial, because the exchange rate works in my favor and gives me more purchasing power. For example, a dollar in the US can buy a bottle of water, but here it can pay for my lunch. However, this is dangerous because you can easily lose track of spending. Sometimes, I buy something just because I think it's inexpensive, even though I don't necessarily need it.
