I went to Alpujarra, a remote region in the mountains with several pueblos. It was absolutely beautiful. For the rest of the week I stayed in Granada.
For the most part, I am deciding to limit my travels to be within Spain. When I lived in Germany, I traveled to 12 countries, but this time, I prefer to really get to know this country more. I have fallen in love with Spain, and there are just so many beautiful places to see, here, that I would rather take the bus to a small pueblo and make memories there. The farthest I have travelled would be Seville, at this point. An absolutely beautiful place. For my spring break, I will be heading to Cordoba and Madrid!
I usually walk everywhere in the city, but because of the rain this week, I was taking the bus a bit more. They don’t have a metro (subway) in Granada, so everyone gets around in three main ways--by taking the public bus, by taxi or on foot. It helps that the buses, here, are really reliable!
