I also have a rooster that lives just below my window, but it's not super fun to hear him in the mornings. Sometimes, on lucky rainy days, I find lots of snails on the sidewalks, too!
On my route to school, there's lots of concrete, in sidewalks, streets and buildings. However, you can find some pretty plants outside of people's houses or in designated green areas. As I was walking up the hill from my home, there was a small flower blooming out of the concrete with a small black and orange butterfly resting on a leaf. It was adorable, but when I went to take a picture, it flew away! Que triste!
