I didn't travel very far this week, just to work and back home, which takes about 30 minutes because I take public transportation.
I have visited many places in Ecuador, including some far away cities. I traveled recently to a city named Cuenca which is about eight hours away when traveling on an interprovincial bus.
I use the public bus system to get around. Bus fare costs 30 cents, and you can ride the bus for as long as you need! Every day I walk down the street for about 15 minutes to my bus stop, and a bus passes by every 30 seconds. I take the bus to and from work every day!
The most interesting place I visited this week were the juegos mechanicos, or amusement park rides. Recently, in Ambato, there have been many areas where they set up amusement park rides for the weeks before and after Carnaval. There are Ferris wheels, roller coasters, and many more exciting rides to go on!
