Seaside Stewards: Empowering Youth Through Microplastic Citizen Science

We need more young people to document our changing world. Alongside students from Grødem Skole, we cleaned Sandestranden (Sande Beach) and measured the microplastic in the sand with U.S. filters.

My friend, Marc Ward, at Sea Turtles Forever sent me static-charged filters that can remove microplastics as small as 100 micrometers in size
