Have you always wanted to work as a veterinarian? Can you tell us about your journey to this career path?
JJ: I have wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a rural community with animals all around me, and I felt connected with and extremely empathetic toward them. I remember watching a farm cat give birth to a litter of kittens, and it was so magical watching the kittens grow and develop every day. In high school, I started taking classes to help me learn if I would like veterinary medicine.
